The abstract meaning of the noun her is 'Sight (in the two eyes of the face)'. The abstract meaning of the noun her(u) or Horus is 'Sight in the single Eye (about 6 inches before the brow)' or 'Second Sight'.
Faulkner notes that the location of the town tait in Egypt is unknown, but its abstract location is again the same as the Star in Utterance 328 or 6 inches before the brow.
The abstract meaning of renutet is the 'Exultation' of the Eye in front of the brow. hat means 'brow' concretely or 'front' more abstractly. em hat is the standard way to write 'in front of' or 'before'.
There is much confusion about the word ren. It means 'name' in the most primitive and concrete sense as a 'mouth for something', but the most important abstract meaning for 'mouth' is 'Tunnel Opening' which is always what it means in the Pyramid Texts. The so-called 'name' possesses magical power as the 'Star' before the brow again which can even cause the Universe to tremble or levitate telekinetically in the construction of a pyramid.
hekau for 'Magic' is also 'the Telekinetic Power of Consciousness' directly suggested by its pun related spelling. And finally, the word ur is generally thought to have the much degraded meaning 'great'. When the feminine ending et is added here as in the word uret, it means 'the Great Eye'. But ur really means 'spiritually great' or 'Mahatmic', and so uret actually means 'the Mahatmic Eye'.
